The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a step towards individuals having more control over how their personal data is used and how they are contacted.
All businesses will need to demonstrate that they value an individual’s privacy and reflect this in how they handle the data they collect and use.
It aims to ensure that personal data protection and privacy are considered throughout all of your business functions, systems and processes.
The GDPR will come into full force on 25th May 2018 – without any grace period.
So with less than eight weeks to go before the impending deadline is reached, we’re working with our clients to offer support, advice and guidance to ensure their business is fully GDPR compliant.
We’ve created an information guide and visual info-graphic to help you to familiarise yourself with key actions.
Over the course of the next month, we will be updating our own policies and data handling procedures to reflect these changes.
